The career that I would like to have when I am older is a fashion designer. I have wanted to be a fashion designer since I was little. I have always been interested in making and designing stuff. I draw clothes and things like that. I find it to be lots of fun. I love the things I come up with. They always look good in my eyes. My sister likes it to. She told me that she can see me being a fashion designer when I’m older. I plan to go to college to be a fashion designer. I think as a fashion designer that I would have to get up on time, complete fashion assignments that are assigned to me by my boss. Hopefully I will do well and get a degree for fashion designing.
An average fashion designer makes $61, 160. The not very good fashion designers make about $32,150. Not to mention the fashion designers that do very, very well get paid about $124,780. I researched that the ones that do better than that earn money in the millions! I hope that I will be as good as the ones that make it into the millions. In order to get the job to get the money I would have to go to college and train for it first. I am going to need to know how to sew. I can’t wait until I’m older. A subject that I am definitely going to have to know for this job is math. I need to be able to measure and size the clothing that I work on! Another subject I might need to be a fashion designer is language arts. I think I would need that subject because many beautiful clothing has fancy writing designed on it. Maybe I will design Tshirt like that one day. To help prepare for fashion designing now I can practice doing it every day. One reason for choosing this career is because I love to draw things.
